Privacy notice
1. Data protection at a glance
General information
The following information provides a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any data that can personally identify you. Detailed information on data protection can be found in the privacy notice listed below this text.
2. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website, once company registration is complete, is:
StarSeed-IT GmbH (in formation, not yet entered in the commercial register)
Address: [to be added after company registration is complete]
Email: info@starseed-it.com
3. Data collection on this website
How do we collect your data?
Data is collected when you provide it to us, for example via the contact form. When the website is accessed, the hosting provider also processes technically necessary connection data, in particular IP address, time of access, requested resource and browser information.
What do we use your data for?
Technical data is processed to provide the website securely and without errors. No analysis of user behaviour is currently integrated. Information from the contact form is used solely to process your enquiry and to communicate with you about it.
4. Your rights
You have the right at any time to receive information free of charge about the origin, recipients and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have the right to request correction or deletion of this data. If you have given consent to data processing, you may withdraw this consent at any time for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
5. Contact form
If you use the contact form, we use the details you provide (e.g. name, company, email address, phone number, details of your enquiry) to process your enquiry and to communicate with you about it. We may retain this data for follow-up communication related to your enquiry.
Your data is never sold and never made public. It is only shared with technical processors where required for hosting, technical delivery of the form, internal processing via our automation workflows, or email/notification delivery. Where required, we conclude data processing agreements with these processors under Article 28 GDPR.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where pre-contractual measures or a contract are concerned. For other enquiries, processing is based on our legitimate interest in responding under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Retention period: [A concrete maximum retention period for enquiry data has not yet been defined and will be added here once determined.] Until then, data is deleted once the enquiry has been fully processed and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.
6. Hosting and technical processors
The final hosting provider has not yet been decided (under evaluation: Vercel Inc. or Hostinger). The name, address and server location of the provider actually used will be added once this decision is made. Where required, a data processing agreement will be concluded with that provider. Domain management is handled via STRATO. We use an automation workflow tool (n8n) to internally process incoming contact enquiries. The specific legal basis and retention period of server and connection logs will be added according to the selected hosting configuration.
